Following on from the relatively straight forward installation of our Integrex J200, our second new machine install in a week presented some additional challenges.

Unable to skate the machine through the workshop we had to call in the services of a high capacity crane to lower it through the roof instead!

This is our third Variaxis from Mazak and our 8th 5 axis capable machine. With this addition our total fleet of CNCs now stands at 15.

An additional Variaxis was the obvious choice for us. The machine will sit alongside our two other machines providing additional capacity. The added flexability of transferring existing programs quickly on to the new machine ensures maximum productivity from day one.

Features of this latest machine include:

• High performance 12000rpm (11kW) spindle.
• High rigidity fully supported trunnion table resists deflection enabling high material removal rates.
• MAZATROL SmoothG for increased efficiency and ease of operation
